요한복음 19:17
17.  그들이 예수를 맡으매 예수께서 자기의 십자가를 지시고 해골(히브리 말로 골고다)이라 하는 곳에 나가시니

 

1 저 멀리 푸른 언덕에 그 십자가 위에

주 예수 나를 위하여 못 박히셨도다

그 귀한 주의 사랑이 날 구원 하시니

그 사랑 나도 본 받아 주 위해 힘쓰리

 

2 그 흉한 십자가에서 한 없는 고통을

이 세상 사람 위하여 당하신 것일세

그 귀한 주의 사랑이 날 구원 하시니

그 사랑 나도 본 받아 주 위해 힘쓰리

 

3 그 흘린 보배 피로써 날 속량했으니

저 하늘 문을 여시고 날 인도하시리

17. And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:

 

1 There is a green hill far away, Beyond a city wall,

Where the dear Lord was crucified, Who died to save us all.

Oh dearly, dearly has He loved, And we must love Him too,

And trust in His redeeming blood, And try His works to do.

 

2 We may not know, we cannot tell What pains He had to bear;

But we believe it was for us He hung and suffered there.
