찬송가145 오 거룩하신 주님 O sacred Head, now wounded

 

마태복음 27:29
29. 가시관을 엮어 그 머리에 씌우고 갈대를 그 오른손에 들리고 그 앞에서 무릎을 꿇고 희롱하여 이르되 유대인의 왕이여 평안할지어다 하며

 

1 오 거룩하신 주님 그 상하신 머리

조롱과 욕에 싸여 가시관 쓰셨네

아침 해처럼 밝던 주님의 얼굴

이 고통과 치욕으로 창백해 지셨네

 

2 주 당하신 그 고난 죄인 위함이라

내 지은 죄로 인해 주 형벌 받았네

내 주여 비옵나니 이 약한 죄인을

은혜와 사랑으로 늘 지켜 주소서

 

3 나 무슨 말로 주께 다 감사 드리랴

끝 없는 주의 사랑 한 없이 고마워

보잘 것 없는 나를 주의 것 삼으사

주님만 사랑하며 나 살게 하소서

29. And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!

 

 

1 O sacred Head, now wounded, With grief and shame weighed down,

Now scornfully surrounded With thorns, Thine only crown:

How pale art Thou with anguish, With sore abuse and scorn!

How does that visage languish Which once was bright as morn!

 

2 What Thou, my Lord, hast suffered Was all for sinners' gain;

Mine, mine was the transgression, But Thine the deadly pain.

Lo, here I fall, my Saviour! 'Tis I deserve Thy place;

Look on me with Thy favor, Vouchsafe to me Thy grace.

 

3 What language shall I borrow To thank Thee, dearest friend,

For this Thy dying sorrow, Thy pity without end?

O make me Thine forever;And should I fainting be,

Lord, let me never, never Outlive my love to Thee.
