33. 해골이라 하는 곳에 이르러 거기서 예수를 십자가에 못 박고 두 행악자도 그렇게 하니 하나는 우편에, 하나는 좌편에 있더라

 

1 영화로운 주 예수의 십자가를 생각하면

세상 부귀 모든 영화 분토 만도 못하도다

오 갈보리 오 갈보리 주 예수 나를 위하여

십자가에 못 박히신 보배로우신 나의 주

 

2 구주께서 죽으실 때 성전 휘장 찢어지어

구원의 길 여심으로 천국 기쁨 주셨도다

33. And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.

 

 

1 On Calvary's brow my Savior died, 'Twas there my Lord was crucified;

'Twas on the cross He bled for me And purchased there my pardon free.

O Calvary! dark Calvary! Where Jesus shed His blood for me

2 'Mid rending rocks and darkening skies My Savior bows His head and dies;

The opening veil reveals the way To heaven's joys and endless day.
