찬송가25 면류관 벗어서 Crown Him with many crowns

요한계시록 4:10
10. 이십사 장로들이 보좌에 앉으신 이 앞에 엎드려 세세토록 살아 계시는 이에게 경배하고 자기의 관을 보좌 앞에 드리며 이르되

 

1 면류관 벗어서 주 앞에 드리세

저 천사 기쁜 노래가 온 땅에 퍼지네

내 혼아 깨어서 주 찬송하여라

온 백성 죄를 속하신 만왕의 왕일세

 

2 면류관 벗어서 주 앞에 드리세

그 손과 몸의 상처가 영광 주 빛나네

하늘의 천사도 그 영광 보고서

고난의 신비 알고자 늘 흠모하도다

 

3 면류관 벗어서 주 앞에 드리세

온 세상 전쟁 그치고 참 평화 오겠네

주 보좌 앞에서 온 백성 엎드려

그 한량 없는 영광을 늘 찬송합니다

10. The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,

1 Crown Him with many crowns, The Lamb upon His throne;

Hark! how the heavenly anthem drowns All music but its own:

Awake, my soul, and sing Of Him who died for thee,

And hail Him as thy matchless King Thro' all eternity.

 

2 Crown Him the Lord of love; Behold His hands and side,

Rich wounds, yet visible above, In beauty glorified:

No angel in the sky Can fully bear that sight,

But downward bends His burning eye At mysteries so bright.

 

3 Crown Him the Lord of peace; Whose pow'r a scepter sways

From pole to pole, that wars may cease, Absorbed in prayer and praise:

His reign shall know no end; And round His pierced feet

Fair flowers of Paradise extend Their fragrance ever sweet.
