에베소서 5:25
25. 남편들아 아내 사랑하기를 그리스도께서 교회를 사랑하시고 그 교회를 위하여 자신을 주심 같이 하라

 

1 완전한 사랑 하나님의 사랑

다함이 없는 사랑에 겨워

둘 한 몸 되어 보람있게 살라

손 모아 주님 앞에 빕니다

 

2 온전한 생활하게 하옵소서

믿음과 소망 사랑 가지고

아픔과 죽음 겁을 내지 않고

주님만 의지하게 하소서

 

3 슬픔을 이길 기쁨 주시옵고

다툼을 없앨 평화 내리사

사랑의 아침 환히 동 터오는

행복한 나날되게 하소서

25. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

1 O perfect Love, all human thought transcending,

Lowly we kneel in prayer before Thy throne,

That theirs may be the love which knows no edning,

Whom Thou forevermore dost join in one.

 

2 O perfect Life, be Thou their full assurance

Of tender charity and steadfast faith,

Of patient hope, and quiet, brave endurance,

With childlike trust that fears not pain nor death.

 

3 Grant them the joy which brightend earthly sorrow;

Grant them the peace which calms all earthly strife,

And to life's day the glorious unknown morrow

That dawns upon eternal love and life.
