요한계시록 2:10
10. 너는 장차 받을 고난을 두려워하지 말라 볼지어다 마귀가 장차 너희 가운데에서 몇 사람을 옥에 던져 시험을 받게 하리니 너희가 십 일 동안 환난을 받으리라 네가 죽도록 충성하라 그리하면 내가 생명의 관을 네게 주리라

 

1 이전에 주님을 내가 몰라 영광의 주님을 비방했다

지극한 그 은혜 내게 넘쳐 날 불러 주시니 고마워라

 

2 나 받은 달란트 얼마런가 나 힘써 그것을 남기어서

갑절로 주님께 바치오면 충성된 종이라 상 주시리

 

3 천하고 무능한 나에게도 귀중한 직분을 맡기셨다

그 은혜 고맙고 고마워라 이 생명 바쳐서 충성하리

 

4 나 하는 일들이 하도 적어 큰 열매 눈 앞에 안 뵈어도

주님께 죽도록 충성하면 생명의 면류관 얻으리라

 

10. Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

 

1 Long ago far away while without Him

Once I did sin against almighty God

But when I asked Him to make my heart clean,

Freely He poured out His grace upon me.

 

2 Freely to all who have trusted in Him

Talents abundant He giveth to them,

When He shall come again receiving His own,

Oh, might He say to me "my child well done."

 

3 Weak and unable, O Lord, to stand,

Yet you have given a great work to do

Till ends my life breath I faithful will be,

Thanking and praising rejoicing in Thee.

 

4 What for the Lord I am able to do

May seem like little or nothing to You

If unto death I am faithful to Him

A crown of life awaits when I get home.
