요한1서 3:16
16. 그가 우리를 위하여 목숨을 버리셨으니 우리가 이로써 사랑을 알고 우리도 형제들을 위하여 목숨을 버리는 것이 마땅하니라

 

1 머리에 가시관 붉은 피 흐르는 주님의 얼굴을 우러러 보라

나의 죄 사하신 그 얼굴 보고서 참사랑을 알았네

 

2 채찍에 상하고 쇠 못에 박히신 주님의 그 상처 우러러 보라

내 대신 당하신 그 상처 보고서 참사랑을 알았네

 

3 골고다 언덕에 주께서 달리신 고통의 십자가 우러러 보라

내 대신 죽으신 예수를 보고서 참사랑을 알았네

 

16. Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

 

1 Look up, Lord Jesus Christ Died for us on the cross.

He wore the crown of thorns On His sacred head.

When I see Jesus Christ There upon Calvary,

I come to know Jesus' love.

 

2 Look up, the wounds of the Suff'ring Lord Jesus Christ.

Beaten and looking down, On the cross He died.

When I see Jesus' cross, Hanging on Calvary,

I come to know Jesus' love.

 

3 Look up, His painful face With His blood dripping down.

Our Lord was crucified On the rugged cross.

When I see Jesus Christ Dying on Calvary,

I come to know Jesus' love.
