찬송가261 이 세상의 모든 죄를 Blessed be the fountain of blood

시편 51:7
7. 우슬초로 나를 정결하게 하소서 내가 정하리이다 나의 죄를 씻어 주소서 내가 눈보다 희리이다

 

1 이 세상의 모든 죄를 맑히시는 주의 보혈

성자 예수 그 귀한 피 찬송하고 찬송하세

주님 앞을 멀리 떠나 길을 잃고 헤맬 때에

나의 뒤를 따라오사 친히 구원 하셨도다

흰 눈 보다 더 희 눈 보다 더

주의 흘리신 보혈로 희게 씻어 주옵소서

 

2 가시관을 쓰셨으니 피로 얼굴 물드셨고

십자가의 모진 고통 나를 위해 당하셨네

말로 형용할 수 없는 구세주의 고속하심

그 은혜와 크신 사랑 찬송하고 찬송하세

흰 눈 보다 더 희 눈 보다 더

주의 흘리신 보혈로 희게 씻어 주옵소서

 

3 아버지를 멀리 떠나 바른 길을 저버리고

여러가지 죄악으로 주홍 같이 되었으니

물 같은 것 가지고는 씻을 수가 아주 없네

주여 귀한 보배 피로 날 정결케 하옵소서

흰 눈 보다 더 희 눈 보다 더

주의 흘리신 보혈로 희게 씻어 주옵소서

1 Blessed be the fountain of blood, To a world of sinners revealed.

Blessed be the dear Son of God Only by His stripes we are healed.

Tho' I've wandered far from His fold, Bringing to my heart pain and woe,

2 Thorny was the crown that He word, And the Cross His body o'ercame;

Grievous were the sorrows He bore, But He suffered thus not in vain.

May I to that fountain be led, Made to cleanse my sins here below;

3 Father, I have wandered from Thee; Often has my heart gone astray.

Crimson do my sins seem to me Water cannot wash them away.

Jesus, to that fountain of Thine, Leaning on Thy promise I go;

Cleanse me by Thy washing devine, And I shall be whiter than snow.
