11. 사랑하는 자들아 거류민과 나그네 같은 너희를 권하노니 영혼을 거슬러 싸우는 육체의 정욕을 제어하라

 

1 세월이 흘러 가는데 이 나그네 된 나는

괴로운 세월 가는 것 막을 길 아주 없네

저 요단강가 섰는데 내 친구 건너 가네

저 건너편에 빛난 곳 내 눈에 환하도다

 

2 저 뵈는 하늘 집에서 날 오라 하실 때에

등 예비하라 하신 말 나 항상 순종하네

11. Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;

1 My days are gliding swiftly by,

And I a pilgrim stranger,

Would not detain them, as they fly,

These hours of toil and danger;

"Let ev'ry lamp be burning,"
