찬송가484 내 맘의 주여 소망 되소서 Be Thou my vision

시편 73:25
25. 하늘에서는 주 외에 누가 내게 있으리요 땅에서는 주 밖에 내가 사모할 이 없나이다

 

1 내 맘의 주여 소망되소서

주 없이 모든 일 헛되어라

밤에나 낮에나 주님 생각

잘 때나 깰 때 함께 하소서

 

2 지혜의 주여 말씀으로서

언제나 내 안에 계십소서

주는 내 아버지 나는 아들

주 안에 내가 늘 함께 하네

 

3 세상의 영광 나 안보여도

언제나 주님은 나의 기업

주님만 내 맘에 계시오니

영원한 주님 참 귀하셔라

 

4 영원한 주님 내 승리의 주

하늘의 기쁨을 주옵소서

어떠한 고난이 닥쳐와도

만유의 주여 소망 되소서

25. Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.

1 Be Thou my vision, O Lord of my heart;

Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art;

Thou my best thought, by day or by night,

Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.

 

2 Be Thou my wisdom, and Thou my true Word;

I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord;

Thou my great Father, I Thy true son,

Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.

 

3 Riches I heed not, nor man's empty praise;

Thou mine inheritance, now, and always;

Thou and Thou only, first in my heart,

High King of heaven, my treasure Thou art.

 

4 High King of heaven, my victory won,

May I reach heaven's joys, O bright heaven's Sun!

Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,

Still be my vision, O Ruler of all.
