8. 내가 또 주의 목소리를 들으니 주께서 이르시되 내가 누구를 보내며 누가 우리를 위하여 갈꼬 하시니 그 때에 내가 이르되 내가 여기 있나이다 나를 보내소서 하였더니

 

1 익은 곡식 거둘 자가 없는 이 때에 누가 가서 거둘까

내가 어찌 게으르게 앉아 있을까 어서 가자 밭으로

보내 주소서 보내 주소서

제단 숲불 내 입술에 대니 어찌 주저할까 주여 나를 보내 주소서

 

2 주가 두루 다니며 일꾼 부르나 따르는 자 적도다

보라 주의 사랑하는 익은 곡식을 어서 거두러 가자

3 주가 나를 부르시니 언제 어디나 기뻐 가서 일하리

주가 명령 내리실 때 능력 받아서 기뻐 거두리로다

8. Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

 

1 Here am I, send me, my Lord, for I see none at work, And the garvest rip'ning so!

Who will go now all is ready? Dare I sleep or shirk? Let us rise with haste and go!

2 Jesus comes to plead but those who head are, oh, so few, Though he searches high and deep.

In the harvest of His loving there is work to do. Let us go with haste and reap!
