요한복음 15:15
15. 이제부터는 너희를 종이라 하지 아니하리니 종은 주인이 하는 것을 알지 못함이라 너희를 친구라 하였노니 내가 내 아버지께 들은 것을 다 너희에게 알게 하였음이라

 

1 주 예수 내가 알기 전 날 먼저 사랑했네

그 크신 사랑 나타나 내 영혼 거듭났네

주 내 맘에 늘 계시고 나 주의 안에 있어

저 포도 비유 같으니 참 좋은 나의 친구

 

2 내 친구 되신 예수님 날 구원 하시려고

그 귀한 몸을 버리사 내 죄를 대속했네

나 주님을 늘 믿으며 그 손을 의지하고

내 몸과 맘을 바쳐서 끝까지 충성하리

 

3 내 진실하신 친구여 큰 은혜 내려 주사

날 항상 보호하시고 내 방패 되옵소서

그 풍성한 참 사랑을 뉘 능히 끊을 쏘냐

날 구원하신 예수는 참 좋은 나의 친구

 

 

15. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

1 I've found a Friend, oh, such a Friend!

He loved me ere I knew Him;

He drew me with the cords of love,

And thus He bound me to Him.

And 'round my heart still closely twine

Those ties which naught can sever;

For I am His, and He is mine,

Forever and forever.

 

2 I've found a Friend, oh, such a Friend!

He bled, He died to save me;

And not alone the gift of life,

But His own self He gave me.

Naught that I have my own I call;

I hold it for the Giver.

My heart, my strength, my life, my all

Are His, and His forever.

 

3 I've found a Friend, oh, such a Friend!

So kind, and true, and tender,

So wise a Counsellor and Guide,

So mighty a Defender!

From Him Who loves me now so well

What pow'r my soul can sever?

Shall life or death, of earth or hell?

No! I am His forever.
