찬송가12 다 함께 주를 경배하세 Jehovah, let me now adore Thee

요한계시록 4:11
11. 우리 주 하나님이여 영광과 존귀와 권능을 받으시는 것이 합당하오니 주께서 만물을 지으신지라 만물이 주의 뜻대로 있었고 또 지으심을 받았나이다 하더라

 

1 다 함께 주를 경배하세 주 같은 이가 어디 있을까

주 앞에 찬양을 드리니 주 성령이여 나를 도우사

주 기뻐하실 노래 불러서 그 이름 찬양하게 하소서

 

2 내 주여 나를 인도하사 아버지 품에 살게 하시고

주 성령 내 행실 살피사 내 맘과 뜻을 주관하시고

주 성령 내 맘 열어 주시사 참 평화 간직하게 하소서

 

3 주 성령 나를 감화하사 새 노래 나의 맘에 솟으니

참되고 간절한 기도로 다 주께 영광 돌려 보내고

주 성령 내 맘 열어 주시사 내주를 찬양하게 하소서

 

4 말할 수 없는 탄식으로 날 위해 친히 간구하시는

주 성령 날 항상 돕나니 이 천한 몸은 주의 것이며

주님의 기업 이을 자임을 나 밝히 알게 하여 주소서

11. Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

1 Jehovah, let me now adore  Thee,

For where is there a God such, Lord, as Thou?

With songs I fain would come before Thee;

Oh, let Thy Holy Spirit teach me now

To praise Thee in His name thro' whom alone

Our songs can please Thee, thro' Thy blessed Son!

 

2 O Father, draw me to my Saviour

That Thy dear Son may draw me unto Thee;

Thy Spirit guide my whole behavior

And rule both sense and reason thus in me

That, Lord, Thy peace from me may ne'er depart,

But wake sweet melodies within my heart!

 

3 Grant that Thy Spirit prompt my praises,

Then shall my singing surely please Thine ear;

Sweet are the sounds my heart then raises,

My prayer in truth and spirit Thou wilt hear,

Then shall Thy Spirit raise my heart to Thee

To sing Thee psalms of praise in high degree.

 

4 For He can plead for me with sighings,

That are unspeakable to lips like mine;

He bids me pray with earnest cryings,

Bears witness with my soul that I am Thine,

Joint heir With Christ, and thus may dare to say:

O heav'nly Father, hear me when I pray!
