찬송가204 주의 말씀 듣고서 Those who hear and do the Word

마태복음 7:25
25. 비가 내리고 창수가 나고 바람이 불어 그 집에 부딪치되 무너지지 아니하나니 이는 주추를 반석 위에 놓은 까닭이요

 

1 주의 말씀 듣고서 준행하는 자는 

반석 위에 터 닦고 집을 지음 같아

비가 오고 물 나며 바람 부딪쳐도

반석 위에 세운 집 무너지지 않네

잘 짓고 잘 짓세 우리 집 잘 짓세

만세반석 위에 다 우리 집 잘 짓세

 

2 주의 말씀 듣고서 행치 않는 자는

모래 위에 터 닦고 집을 지음 같아

비가 오고 물 나며 바람 부딪 칠 때

모래 위에 세운 집 크게 무너지네

잘 짓고 잘 짓세 우리 집 잘 짓세

만세반석 위에 다 우리 집 잘 짓세

 

3 세상 모든 사람들 집을 짓는 자니

반석 위가 아니면 모래 위에 짓네

우리 구주 오셔서 지은 상을 줄 때

세운 공로 따라서 영영 상벌 주리

잘 짓고 잘 짓세 우리 집 잘 짓세

만세반석 위에 다 우리 집 잘 짓세

 

 

25. And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

1 Those who hear and do the Word Of the Master ever,

Build a house on solid rock, To be shaken never.

When the rains, and floods appall, All the tempests' fury

Cannot shake it,, standing tall, On the rock, securely.

Build we well, Build to last, Build our house together;

On the Rock of Ages, fast, Build to stand forever!

 

2 Those who hear and do not do, In the words delighting,

Build a house on shifting sand, Ruin swift inviting.

When the rains, and floods appall, As the blows fall faster,

Built on sand, the house must fall. In complete disaster.

Build we well, Build to last, Build our house together;

On the Rock of Ages, fast, Build to stand forever!

 

3 No one lives but builds a house, High or low our station,

Builds on Christ the Rock, or else Sand, without foundation.

Christ will come and judge us each After our endeavor,

Rock or sand, to fall or stand, Stand or fall forever.

Build we well, Build to last, Build our house together;

On the Rock of Ages, fast, Build to stand forever!
