48. 내가 곧 생명의 떡이니라

 

1 주 예수 해변서 떡을 떼사 무리를 먹이어 주심 같이

영생의 양식을 나에게도 풍족히 나누어 주옵소서

 

2 생명의 말씀인 나의 주여 목 말라 주님을 찾나이다

해변서 무리를 먹임 같이 갈급한 내 심령 채우소서

 

3 내 주여 진리의 말씀으로 사슬에 얽매인 날 푸시사

내 맘에 평화를 누리도록 영원한 생명을 주옵소서

 

4 성령을 내 맘에 보내셔서 내 어둔 영의 눈 밝히시사

말씀에 감추인 참 진리를 깨달아 알도록 하옵소서

48. I am that bread of life.

1 Break Thou the bread of life, Dear Lord, to me;

As Thou didst break the loaves Beside the sea;

Beyond the sacred page I seek Thee, Lord;

My spirit pants for Thee, O living Word!

 

2 Thou art the bread of life, O Lord, to me;

Thy holy Word the truth That saveth me;

Give me to eat and live With Thee above;

Teach me to love Thy truth, For Thou art love.

 

3 Bless Thou the truth, dear Lord, To me, to me;

As Thou didst bless the bread By Galilee;

Then shall all bondage cease, All fetters fall;

And I shall find my peace, My All in All.

 

4 O send Thy Spirit, Lord, Now unto me;

That He may touch my eyes And make me see;

Show me the truth concealed Within Thy Word;

And in Thy Book revealed I see the Lord.
