찬송가212 겸손히 주를 섬길 때 O Master, let me walk with Thee

 
히브리서 12:1
1. 이러므로 우리에게 구름 같이 둘러싼 허다한 증인들이 있으니 모든 무거운 것과 얽매이기 쉬운 죄를 벗어 버리고 인내로써 우리 앞에 당한 경주를 하며

 

1 겸손히 주를 섬길 때 괴로운 일이 많으나

구주여 내게 힘 주사 잘 감당하게 하소서

 

2 인자한 말을 가지고 사람을 감화 시키며

갈 길을 잃은 무리를 잘 인도하게 하소서

 

3 구주의 귀한 인내를 깨달아 알게 하시고

굳건한 믿음 주셔서 늘 승리하게 하소서

 

4 장래의 영광 비추사 소망이 되게 하시며

구주와 함께 살면서 참 평강 얻게 하소서

1. Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

1 O Master, let me walk with Thee

In lowly paths of service free;

Tell me Thy secret, help me bear

The strain of toil, the fret of care.

 

2 Help me the slow of heart to move

By some clear, winning word of love;

Teach me the wayward feet to stay,

And guide them in the homeward way.

 

3 Teach me Thy patience; still with Thee.

In closer, dearer company,

In work that keeps faith sweet and strong,

In trust that triumphs over wrong.

 

4 In hope that sends a shining ray

Far down the future's broad'ning way,

In peace that only Thou canst give,

With Thee, O Master, let me live.
