빌립보서 1:20
20. 나의 간절한 기대와 소망을 따라 아무 일에든지 부끄러워하지 아니하고 지금도 전과 같이 온전히 담대하여 살든지 죽든지 내 몸에서 그리스도가 존귀하게 되게 하려 하나니

 

1 내 임금 예수 내 주여

이 죄인이 주님 앞에

한 없는 은혜 받고서

내 생명 모두 드리오니

그 풍성하신 은총을

주 내게 내려 주소서

 

2 내 임금 예수 내 주여

내 허물은 덮으시고

주 십자가에 흘리신

그 피를 믿는 마음 보사

내 중한 죄를 사하여

참 평안한 맘 주소서

 

3 내 임금 예수 내 주여

주 은혜에 감격하여

한 없는 감사 찬송을

내 주님 앞에 드리오며

내 맘과 정성 다하여

늘 기뻐하며 살리라

 

4 내 임금 예수 내 주여

이 마음과 이 천한 몸

그 보배 피로 값주고

주 친히 사신 것이오니

나 이제 사나 죽으나

주 뜻만 따라 살리라

 

20. According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.

1 Jesus, my King before Thy face

A sinner stands, redeem'd by grace.

And for that boundless grace divine,

To Thee I pledge this body of mine.

Do Thou, O Lord, in mercy pour

On me such grace forever more!

 

2 My King, my Lord, behold this heart,

Thou who dost know it's deepest part,

Behold it's faith in Calvary,

And in the blood my Lord shed for me.

Forgive, O Lord, my grievous sin,

And grant my heart true peace within.

 

3 My King, my Lord, amaz'd and stirr'd

By that rich grace Thou hast conferr'd,

Unending thanks and endless praise

To Thee, O Lord, this glad herat would raise,

And all its pow'rs, henceforth employ

To serve its Lord with endless joy.

 

4 My King, my Lord, because this flesh,

So without worth or usefulness,

Is flesh redeem'd and dearly bought

By Thine own blood not given for naught,

In life or death for Thee to live,

And Thee alone, myself I give.
