요한계시록 6:11
11. 각각 그들에게 흰 두루마기를 주시며 이르시되 아직 잠시 동안 쉬되 그들의 동무 종들과 형제들도 자기처럼 죽임을 당하여 그 수가 차기까지 하라 하시더라

 

1 잠시 세상에 내가 살면서 항상 찬송 부르다가

날이 저물어 오라 하시면 영광 중에 나아가리

열린 천국 문 내가 들어가 세상 짐을 내려 놓고

빛난 면류관 받아 쓰고서 주와 함께 길이 살리

 

2 눈물 골짜기 더듬으면서 나의 갈 길 다 간 후에

주의 품 안에 내가 안기어 영원토록 살리로다

4 한숨 가시고 죽음 없는 날 사모하며 기다리니

내가 그리던 주를 뵈올 때 나의 기쁨 넘치리라

열린 천국 문 내가 들어가 세상 짐을 내려 놓고

빛난 면류관 받아 쓰고서 주와 함께 길이 살리

 

11. And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

1 Just a few more days to be filled with praise,

And to tell the old, old story;

Then, when twilight falls, and my Savior calls

I shall go to Him in glory.

Where the gates swing outward never;
