전도서 12:1
1. 너는 청년의 때에 너의 창조주를 기억하라 곧 곤고한 날이 이르기 전에, 나는 아무 낙이 없다고 할 해들이 가깝기 전에

 

1 가슴마다 파도 친다 우리들의 젊은이

눈동자에 어리운다 우리들의 푸른 꿈

주의 말씀 주의 행함 길과 진리되시니

우리 평생 한결 같이 주만 따라 살리라

 

2 하늘 같이 높푸르자 우리들의 젊은이

바다 같이 넓고 깊자 우리들의 사랑이

우리들은 주의 자녀 부름 받은 한 형제

몸과 마음 다 바쳐서 주 뜻대로 살리라

 

3 화산 같이 타오르자 우리들의 젊은이

폭포 같이 줄기차자 우리들의 붉은 피

할 일 많은 이 나라에 우리 태어났으니

복음 들고 앞장 서서 충성되게 일하자

 

4 대지 같이 광활하자 우리들의 젊은이

산과 같이 우람하자 우리들의 기상이

십자가를 높이 들고 노래하며 나가자

하늘 뜻이 이 땅 위에 이루어질 때까지

1. Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;

1 Ev'ry heart beats like the ocean, Our youth, the young and free

Ev'ry eye is shining, dazzled By the springtime dreams we see!

All the word and work of Jesus Are the living way and truth;

Him we'll follow, faithful ever, And to this we pledge our youth.

 

2 Soaring upward like the heavens, Our youth, the young and free

Let our love be deep and boundless As the deep and boundless sea.

We are call'd as sons and daughters Of the Lord, and all one blood;

So we pledge our hearts and bodies To live by the will of God.

 

3 Like volcanoes, flaming sunward, Our youth, the young and free

Or like waterfalls of gladness Let our lifeblood crimson be.

So much work awaits our doing In this land that gave us birth,

Let us bear the gospel onward With our utmost will and worth.

 

4 Ample as the breadth of Asia Our youth, the young and free

Let our spirits match our mountains In their strength and majesty.

Lifting high the cross, with singing Let us ever onward go,

Till the will of God in heaven Is fulfill'd on earth below.
